A Philosophy of Patient-Centered, Integrative Care
Northeast College of Health Sciences embraces a doctor- driven, patient-centered educational model within our Health Centers.
Under this model, each Clinician is fully engaged both with patient care and supervision of students to provide quality patient care and maximize the educational benefit to the student. In essence, the Clinician is responsible for all patient health care decisions (evaluation, management and record keeping) and will determine the best form of treatment for you. Yet it is intended that the student will interact with the Clinician in the health care decision making process and participate in the authorized care as directed by the Clinician.
